- South & West: Perfectly dry and ideal for combining bush safaris with beach extensions.
What can be difficult
- Highland Evenings: Temperatures can drop to 10°C (50°F) in Antananarivo and Antsirabe, requiring warm layers for dinner.
Usually not recommended
- Andringitra: June is the coldest month for trekking in Andringitra. Night temperatures at higher elevations can occasionally drop to freezing point.
