Explore Madagascar end to end on this extraordinary journey through its most stunning regions. Beginning in Diego Suarez and the seaside village of Ramena, passing through the lush forests of Amber Mountain, the dramatic Red Tsingy and the karst labyrinths of Ankarana National Park.
Heading south, cross the wild terrains of Antsohihy and the Park of Ankarafantsika, then enter the rainforest of Andasibe and the High Plateau towns of Antsirabe and Ambositra, renowned for Malagasy craftsmanship.
Continue through the tropical rainforests of Ranomafana, the Betsileo villages around Ambalavao, and the striking canyons and plateaus of Isalo National Park.
The expedition concludes on the shores of the Mozambique Channel with time on the lively beaches of Ifaty just north of Toliara.

Antananarivo → Antsiranana → Ramena
Morning transfer to the airport for a scenic domestic flight to the northern tip of the island. Upon arrival in Antsiranana (historically known as Diego Suarez), enjoy a brief city tour highlighting its rich maritime heritage, grand colonial buildings, and sweeping views of one of the world’s largest natural harbors. Ramena → Joffreville → Ramena
Depart early for the mist-shrouded highlands of Amber Mountain National Park, a volcanic massif teeming with endemic flora and fauna. Ramena & the Emerald Sea
