Itinerary
Day 1
Antananarivo
Arrival at Ivato International Airport according to your international flight schedule. Welcome assistance and transfer to central Antananarivo. Orientation, markets and panoramic viewpoints. Overnight at Havana Resort.
Day 2
Antananarivo → Andasibe
Drive 140 km (≈4 hrs) east to Andasibe. Afternoon visit to Mitsinjo Community Reserve to hear Indri calls; night walk for nocturnal wildlife. Overnight at Sahatandra River Hotel.
Day 3
Andasibe → Mantadia National Park (Cycling Loop)
50 km cycling round trip to Mantadia. Guided 3‑hr rainforest walk in Mantadia; return via Vakona Reserve (Lemur Island). Overnight at Sahatandra River Hotel.
Day 4
Andasibe → Antsirabe
Long drive 320 km (≈10 hrs) across highlands with stop at Ambatolampy foundry. Afternoon in Antsirabe: market and colonial town sights. Overnight at H1 Antsirabe.
Day 5
Antsirabe → Ambositra → Anjozorozoro
Short transfer to Lake Andraikiba and cycling to Lake Tritriva, then drive to Ambositra (Zafimaniry woodcarving) and continue to Anjozorozoro. Overnight at Ivato River Lodge.
Day 6
Anjozorozoro → Antoetra → Sakaivo → Anjozorozoro
Approx. 50 km cycling on rough tracks to Antoetra and Laibury; hike down to Sakaivo (Zafimaniry village) and return. Cultural homestead visits and craft encounters. Overnight at Ivato River Lodge.
Day 7
Anjozorozoro → Ambohimahasoa → Ranomafana
Drive south to Ambohimahasoa then cycle RN25 toward Ranomafana (110 km drive + ~40 km cycling). Arrival at Ranomafana National Park area. Overnight at Karibotel.
Day 8
Ranomafana → Sahambavy
Morning visit to Ranomafana NP (lemur watching). Drive to Sahambavy and cycle ~15 km through tea plantations. Overnight at Lac Hôtel Sahambavy.
Day 9
Sahambavy → Fianarantsoa → Ambalavao
Visit Sahambavy tea estate, continue to Fianarantsoa (Upper Town), then to Ambalavao and Anja Community Reserve for ring‑tailed lemurs. Overnight at Tsinimparihy Lodge.
Day 10
Ambalavao → Tsaranoro Valley
Drive to Tsaranoro; ~35 km cycling through rice fields to the valley. Afternoon hike to Chameleon Peak for panoramic views. Overnight at Tsarasoa Lodge.
Day 11
Tsaranoro → Ihosy → Ranohira
Drive to Ihosy then a long cycling stage (70 km) across the Ihorombe Plateau to Ranohira, gateway to Isalo National Park. Overnight at ITC Lodge.
Day 12
Isalo National Park (Cycling & Hiking)
~50 km cycling combined with hikes to Isalo canyons, natural pools and iconic Isalo Window at sunset. Full‑day exploration. Overnight at ITC Lodge.
Day 13
Ranohira → Toliara → Ifaty
Drive ~150–210 km to Toliara, then cycle ~40 km to Ifaty along the coast. Beach time, spiny forest visit and lagoon snorkeling. Overnight at Bamboo Club.
Day 14
Ifaty → Toliara → Antananarivo
Transfer to Toliara airport for domestic flight to Antananarivo. Arrival transfer to hotel and evening at leisure. Overnight at Hotel San Cristobal.
Day 15
Antananarivo — Departure
Transfer to Ivato International Airport according to your flight schedule. End of services.
